Happy Friday!
I’m still reeling from all the amazing cards in the Blog Hop from earlier this week. So awesome! After seeing all inspiration, I wanted to create another card using some of the dies. :)
I used the Brilliant and Strong die (only used “brilliant”), and the Hexagon Border die. Love both! :) As for paper, I used the Genuine 6×6 pad from Authentique (you can see another card I made with this pad HERE).
Anyhow, enjoy!

Cute! Love that little hexagon border and I really have not been a fan of the hexagons!!
Another lovely card! You always make such great layers on your cards. I really love that hexagon border die!
Wow, the more I see you use the Authentique papers the more I want them :) and those SSS dies too. I didn’t realize that border dies was tiny hexes, very cute.
Thanks for the wonderful inspiration. This a a great look for a masculine card.
YOU are brilliant, and I love your videos. Thanks for sharing!
Kristina,
I hope you realize your “penmanship” now has a permanent place in cardmaking history. Hoorah for you!!
Peace, Becky Johnson
Love your card! I enjoyed the blog hop earlier this week as well.
You are so right about the blog hop. LOTS of terrific cards to spark the imagination. Thanks for another BRILLIANT card!
I have a technique question…Can the new SSS border dies cut grunge paper? Also what would be the best material to cut a stencil from so I can spray those darling stars, circle and hexagons as a background. I guess that’s 2 questions..Love your work, your stamps, your monthly kits from SSS. Total fan!
I’m not sure it would cut grunge paper since it’s a thicker material. You might do a Google search on Memory Box dies and grunge paper. There might be more info elsewhere.
As for a stencil, you might try cutting transparency paper. Hopefully that would be durable enough for continuous use. :)
Great card, great recovery, great die cut!
Great card! Can’t wait to get this die set from SSS. It’s absolutely fab!
