MACM – So Lucky

Happy Monday! :)

Today I made a “back to basics” card with simple stamping and paper punching. I used the Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks 6×6 pad from My Mind’s Eye and the Konnichiwa Lantern stamp set from Hero Arts.

Anyhow, super quick post today. Enjoy! :)

Next week marks the beginning of a new class at Online Card Classes called Stretch Your Stamps. It’s going to be an awesome class! I have three spots to giveaway. To enter the giveaway, simply leave a comment telling me what your very first stamp was. :) Mine was a simple flower stamp set I used on my first day working at Stampin’ Up back in 2005 when I was in new employee orientation.

NOTE: If you’ve already signed up for class and are one of the winners, you’ll receive a refund.

Comments will close tomorrow night at 5 pm. MT. The winners will have 24 hours to respond to my email telling them that they have won. Good luck!

  1. I bought a doggie and paw combo stamp set because it looked like my Westie Maggie. I had seen a cute card done on the Carol Duvall Show and that is what really started my obsession oops! I mean hobby.

  2. I bought a clear alphabet stamp set for scrapbooking around 2005 but did not like it. I thought that stamping was too messy. In 2008, I started purchasing some Stampin’ Up! sets and fell in love with stamping. :)

  3. I’m all signed up, but I could always buy something else with the refund! :)

  4. I received an Inkadinkadoo pig stamp as a gift in 1988, and never looked back. Haven’t used that stamp in years, but can’t bear to part with it!

  5. My first stamp was a christmas stamp. It was of a group of four snowmen standing around a music stand singing. I used it for the first set of handmade Christmas cards I sent out that year. :) I still have it and I still love it.

  6. My first stamp…was too long ago to remember (my childhood) and I no longer have it…but in my card making stash…I bought several SU ones together…a few sentiments and some flowers. :) Thanks for the giveaway chance. xx

  7. Wold love love love a chance to take this class! My First stamp? I was just a kid when I got my first ones, I had a “Peanuts” stamp (Linus, Lucy, Snoopy), and then there was one with my name for stamping on things (First name with hearts around it, lol) and there was set of Hunchback of Notre Dame stamps somewhere around that time as well. Thanks for a chance to win :)

  8. It was 15 years ago, so I’m not positive, but I think the very first was a thank you stamp. I quickly added a few simple images because I needed to make a LOT of thank you notes. I just now looked at photos I took of those first cards – they certainly look like first attempts!!

  9. My first stamp(s) was a set of four different flowers. I still have them!

  10. My very first stamp was one from SU! It was a set of 8 I think… A flower, a fish, a kite, wow I can’t remember the rest it’s been years!

  11. It was from StampinUp and had flowers and flourishes. I still use it today!!!

  12. Wow such along time ago…..I think It was a little tiny trio of vases with flowers that were tiny hearts from Hero Arts

  13. My very first stamp set was an Inkadinkado hearts set.

  14. Thanks for the opportunity to win a free spot in the class….can’t wait for it to get started on Monday…I need a jump start on inspiration!

  15. Thanks for a chance to win a spot, Kristina!

  16. My first stamps were from Stampin’ Up in a sentiments kit and flowers. Thanks for a chance to win.

  17. My first stamp was a stampin up birthday stamp. I still use it today to make birthday cards.

  18. My first stamp was by Diane Hillier for Yasutomo & Co. with a Heart and flowers dated 1988! It’s a 24 year old stamp and I still have it! LOL :) Kristina that’s for this chance to win!:)

  19. My first stamp was a sentiment stamp “Happy Birthday” because I originally bought stamps to use on my hand painted cards!

  20. My first stamp was a large butterfly, that I could stamp and then colour with water colour crayons.
