Die cut washi tape

Hi all! This card and video was done for Simon Says Stamp not too long ago. Enjoy! :)

Hello! Happy Valentine’s Day! Just kidding! The colors on this card make me think of Valentine’s Day. :)

Washi tape is a HUGE trend in crafting currently and I wanted to show a way to use multiple washi tape designs on one card. I also wanted to show how you can die cut with washi tape.

One of my only complaints about washi tape is that sometimes it’s just doesn’t stick permanently enough for me. (It’s supposed to be removable, but sometimes I don’t want to remove it). So in order to make it stick better, I use Matte Multi Medium to really seal the tape to the paper. It seems to work extremely well for me. You could also try other types of adhesive. :)

I used the most adorable cloud dies on today’s card, the Flat Bottom Cloud die set from My Favorite Things. I adore these little clouds. I think they’re the perfect size for cards.

Anyway, enjoy!

  4. Thanks so much, Kristina!!!! I meant to watch this the other day, but never got around to it, so glad I got to see it today! I love how you used the washi tape and thanks so much for sharing how to make it really stick for this kind of project! I’m with you about just using it for everything that you need an easy to remove tape for! It never seems to run out (similar to all the twine!!!) TFS!

  5. cute. Cute. CUTE!!!!!

  6. Hi Kristina, I love your simple cards and the fab stamps you have on hand. How do you store them? Do you store them as a set or separate them by theme? I, myself, am getting alot of stamps and they’re coming out of my ears LOL!

Thanks for your videos and I hope you give us some tips on stamp storage!
