MACM – Thinking of You

Happy Monday!

Today’s card started with me just wanting to use some 6×6 patterned paper from BasicGrey’s What’s Up? collection. I’ve been wanting to use this particular piece of paper for ages and just never had. Well, today’s the day! :)

I used three different Simon Says Stamp dies on this card: Thinking of You, Hexagon Border, and Holiday Shapes (the tiny hearts).

Enjoy!

Where do you get all the inspiration to make these amazing cards every single time without repeating them?
You’re truly an inspiration to me!

  3. What a pretty card! Kristina, I am a long-time blog follower of yours and I want to tell you again that I think your blog is awesome. It is so visually appealing…and user-friendly! I appreciate all of your links and I even like the mini-ads that are on the side bar. I typically do my (voluminous) blog-reading through my google reader but I always go over to your actual site to get the full effect. I’ve learned a lot from you and I have enjoyed following your work. Thanks for all the inspiration!

  6. I love this paper too but could never think of a way to use it well and so it has been ‘sitting around’! Thanks for the inspiration.

  7. Another way to keep the tips of glue or Glossy Accents clear – stainless steel quilters needles. Those won’t rust like pins. I really enjoy all the great cards you design. Thanks for doing these videos.

  8. again a fabulous card on MACM…. i always wait too see wat u create next…. thanks for the glossy accent tip …. i woulds love to see a card using a silhouette …

  13. Oh I do love this card. I really need to get some of these dies, they are just wonderful.
Are you too smart or what??? Love the idea for keeping the Glossy accents “open” I will definately have to be keeping a few of those little thingys. Thanks!

  14. Really great use of a patterned paper that is beautiful but VERY difficult to use. Well done!

  15. That card is so cute! Maybe the cutest I’ve ever seen. So clever of you to use a paper with a scene on it.

  16. I read somewhere about tapping the (upright) glossy accents on the desk after using to loosen any residual liquid in the nozzle which I have found to work. It comes straight out every time

  17. One of my favorite cards. Thanks for sharing.

  18. Hey Kristina,
I love the postage punch you’ve been using. I noticed there’s one EK Success one and a Fiskars one. Which one would you recommend?

  19. The card is amazing! You make Monday much sweeter then it is :)
Love this hexagon die, but even more love your sentiment die!
Bought Silhouette Cameo recently and try to save on dies, but sometimes (like this time) it’s really difficult :)
I know that you don’t want to make a font from your handwriting but don’t yo have plans creating digital designs with your handwriting?

  20. Gasp Kristina! I am one of your blog fans but have been so busy over at Kickstart, I have only just causght up on MACM! Love this month’s card kit and your great cards! regards Hirty

  21. Very pretty card! I love it! :) I was wondering if you will do another video of your craft room soon? :)

  22. Love the card.
