Hi all! This card and video was done for Simon Says Stamp last week. Enjoy! :)

I love the look of laser cut paper, and it’s easy to recreate the look using an intricate die like the Circle Border die. All you have to do is repeat the pattern of the diecut and line up the cutlines. I show you how in the video below.
I also used some Basically Bare shapes on the card. I adore the neutral, monochromatic look so I left the shapes as is, but you can ink, mist, and paint the shapes to be whatever color you like! :)
Enjoy!

This is stunning!! I am so excited to see how you used this die in a new way! I’m learning to love Desert Card Stock, more and more every day and also now LOVE that wonderful Bazzill that SSS sells! You’ve quickly made that store my number one Go to Store! Love the new custom line you’ve done and also love being a subscriber to the Monthly Card Kits!
I would NEVER have thought to use the die repeatedly like that..YOU are amazing!
Very creative use of die, you are so good at stretching your tools, btw, where did you get the glue gun? I must have that!
Waw what a pretty flower and a beautiful background. Hugs! Mojca

Your die cut background turned out beautifully! I really must try this technique. I especially like the whole monochromatic effect of your card. It has such a lovely rustic look to it.
