Repeated Die Cut Pattern Card

Hi all! This card and video was done for Simon Says Stamp last week. Enjoy! :)

I love the look of laser cut paper, and it’s easy to recreate the look using an intricate die like the Circle Border die. All you have to do is repeat the pattern of the diecut and line up the cutlines. I show you how in the video below.

I also used some Basically Bare shapes on the card. I adore the neutral, monochromatic look so I left the shapes as is, but you can ink, mist, and paint the shapes to be whatever color you like! :)

Enjoy!

  8. Your die cut background turned out beautifully! I really must try this technique. I especially like the whole monochromatic effect of your card. It has such a lovely rustic look to it.
