Holiday Card Series 2012 – Day 24

Happy Monday! Today is Day 24 in the 2012 Holiday Card Series. :)

Today’s card is yet again a super simple card. I wanted to try out Silver StazOn ink since I just picked it up a week ago. Hadn’t had a chance to try it out until now. And after I stamped the snowflakes, I couldn’t bear to cover them up! Just so pretty!

So I kept the area for the sentiment simple and used vellum. I love using vellum over the top of intricate and detailed backgrounds because it still allows the pattern to show through somewhat. :)

Anyhow, enjoy!

  7. Another great idea for a flat card.

I’ve only used spray adhesive once in group work in a seminar and it gave me an asthma attack.

I’m always really careful if I’m heat embossing etc if the dogs are in the room with me.

  8. Gorgeous card. Love the simplicity of it. Love the snowflake stamp. Thanks for sharing,

  9. This is my FAVORITE kind of card to watch you make, REALLY classy, detailed stamping and, above all, the sentiment is on VELLUM!!! I’ll count this one as my Christmas gift from YOU to ME! Thank you SO MUCH!!

  21. Love this card! You know I would love to see you do a card series where all you do is use scraps and things around the house. Or I know you have done something similar before but showing us how to use the same item in multiple ways! I just love your imagination!

  22. Love the richness of the brown and the vellum is really beautiful over the snowflake pattern!
