MACM – Poinsettia Tag

Hi all! Happy Monday!

Today I decided to make a tag. Not exactly a card for Make a Card Monday, but you could definitely adapt this to a card as well. :)

I used the Poinsettia dies from My Favorite Things to create a three-dimensional flower on the card. I cut them out of white cardstock and added color with a blending tool and Distress Inks.

The tag is cut to 3″ x 6-1/4″ and embossed with embossing folders from the Hero Arts Snowflake set and Lifestyle Crafts Classic set of embossing folders. I also added “paint splotches” using Calico White and Calico Shine mists from Studio Calico.

Anyhow, enjoy!

NOTE: The PDF of sketches for the 2012 Holiday Card Series are nearly ready to go! I will be adding them to the site here tomorrow morning. So watch for that. :)
