MACM – With Sympathy

Morning, all!

For today’s card, I wanted to play with Distress Inks again. This time I used softer colors (Evergreen Bough and Shaded Lilac) to create a sympathy card. The sentiment was stamp using Handwritten Sentiments from Simon Says Stamp, and then embossed before pouncing the watercolor in the distress ink. I then finished off the card by die cutting the Memory Box Dogwood Blossom Outline die and gluing it on the watercolor background.

Anyhow, enjoy!

  1. Loved your card! You make it all look so simple yet it turns out so elegant. THank you for the demo!!

  2. I really love this card! What a clever way to do the water color! Are you working on a teflon sheet? And what is the name of the glue? Thanks a million! Leslie
