Color Wednesday #3: Distress Markers & Penny Black Stamps

Happy Wednesday!

For today’s Color Wednesday installment I wanted to use the Mimi’s Playground stamp set from Penny Black and Tim Holtz Distress Markers. These markers are unique is that they can be used with water. :)

I haven’t used them too much yet, which is one of the reasons I’m loving Color Wednesday. It’s giving me a chance to just play with different coloring mediums. So, be sure to watch the video below to hear any tips and tricks that I’ve picked up since I started using them.

I finished off the watercolor piece on a card. The “May all your dream come true” sentiment from Lawn Fawn’s Critters Ever After was absolutely perfect, don’t you think? :)

  2. Awesome blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally confused .. Any tips? Thank you!
