Hi all! Today’s Friday Focus card and video is serving double duty! Not only is it another birthday card in my miniseries of all birthday cards, but I’m also taking part in the Simon Says Stamp March 2013 Card Kit Blog Hop. Today a bunch of super talented card designers are taking the card kit for a spin! I can’t wait to see what else they have in store. :)

Perfect for spring, right? :) And I love that by swapping out some colors and adding black, you get a completely different look…
So, here’s my card. I used the Flower Friend stamp set on black cardstock with white Unicorn ink and then created a wide vertical banner with a strip of yellow stripe washi tape (totally inspired by this card by Nichol). The buttons are from BasicGrey, I think, but I’ve had them forever so they’re not in the supply area below. Super fun card to make! Enjoy!
