I’m moving! Get a box of supplies (just pay shipping)

Hi all! I’ll be moving into a new house in about month (yay!). But what does that mean? I’m going to have to pack up the craft room. Ouch. Not looking forward to that. LOL! I already know that I’m going to be packing up a TON of stuff to giveaway. If you’d like one of the boxes, here are the details…

  • Boxes will contain a variety of papercrafting supplies. 6×6 pads, stamps (clear, cling, and wood mounted), inks, 12×12 paper, embellishments, adhesives, etc.
  • Boxes are packed and sealed up before I put address labels on them. That means I will not know who gets what. They’ll be packed as full as possible. Past readers who have purchased boxes can attest to the fact that they are packed full of fun stuff. :)
  • All boxes are being shipped in USPS flat rate priority mail boxes. You only pay for shipping. (US – $12.35, Canada – $40.95, all other countries – $59.95). Payments will be through PayPal.
  • 1 box per person

Since I know there will be lots of interest in the boxes, I’m treating this like a giveaway. If you want one of the boxes, leave one comment on this blog post telling me about the last time you moved houses (tips?). Emails DO NOT count — only blog comments. Only one comment per person, please. Make sure your email address is correct when you submit your comment. No longer accepting comments. See note below.

As I pack and start shipping boxes, I will randomly select people from the comments and contact them via email for mailing addresses and to collect payment for shipping. If you leave a comment, you are committing to pay the shipping charge should your comment be selected.

UPDATED TO ADD: I will be closing comments on 3/15 at 11:59 pm MT.

NOTE! Winners will not be announced. Each person will be contacted by email.

  1. I haven’t moved since 1992 so can’t even imagine what you are going through and, sorry, but don’t envy you! My suggestion, which I am sure you have heard a dozen times, as soon as you get to your new place, set up your bed, put the sheets on it and fluff your pillows. At the end of the day, you will certainly be glad you did!
    Good Luck!

  2. Best moving tip…and I am the queen of moving…don’t move what you don’t want. There is nothing worse than opening up boxes and then putting them in the garage for a garage sale someday. Hence…let me take some of your boxes off your hands. You’ll thank me! Smiling….and also labels your boxes well so you know what room to unload them in. Good luck!

  3. I used to move every year or so back in grad school. But since I finished in 2005, I’ve stayed put. One thing I remember is that to pack things that go together in a room (not necessarily all the same stuff together), so that you could take them directly to where their supposed to go and when you unpack, everything is right there. Hope you have a stress-free move! :)

  4. Hello:)
Perhaps it is not too late to purchase one of your box of supplies :)
Pack your stuff room after room and always describe your boxes – you will always know what’ s inside.
    Good luck with the move!
