Finally Friday – Flowers
Good morning, all!
I thought for this week’s Finally Friday video I’d do a bit of paper piecing and punching to create a couple flowers for the front of a card. Easy and fun! Be sure to check out the full page with supplies. Oh, and if you’re wondering about the cute CUTE papers, they are My Mind’s Eye Bloom papers. Love them!

Too cute!

March 13th, 2009 at 8:17 amI think some people may have problems accessing videos because of the time difference in the UK. I an always get the finally friday video later in the afternoon but not early morning…
I took inspiration from your card and tried my own flower card, but using my oval punch instead of circles for the petals… The result is on my blog today with credit given to you for inspiration. Thanks!

March 13th, 2009 at 3:08 pmCan you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me where you got those square foam squares? They look very solid (not like the 3M ones) and I haven’t been able to find them ANYWHERE. Love your videos – thanks!
Liana, I believe I got those at Hobby Lobby. I don’t recall who manufacturers them, however. Good luck! :)
Another beautiful card. Well done!
March 13th, 2009 at 4:51 pmThis card is darling, and the technique is wonderful. Thanks for sharing. vw
March 13th, 2009 at 4:53 pmSo cute and adorable! You always make the prettiest flowers! Need to invest in some circle punches. I usually use my scallop oircle spellbinders or coluzzle to make circles. Can’t see my self cutting so many circles…..probably end up with carpal tunnel….lol!
Have a great weekend!
Hugs
March 13th, 2009 at 9:28 pmCould you tell me what type of trimmer you use? I love the flowers, I wish I could afford to but all the circle punches. Thanks
I have the tabletop cutter from Stampin’ Up! It’s the same Tonic cutter found here but in black instead of orange. Other than that, it’s the same cutter.
Me encantan todos tus trabajos y proyectos,Cristina, igual que los de tus invitadas, gracias por crear este espacio.Enhorabuena
