About Kristina
After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Brigham Young University – Idaho, Kristina Werner started her graphic design career at papercrafting company Stampin’ Up! She initially designed their catalog. It was during this time that she discovered the wonderful and creative outlet of stamping, scrapbooking, and cardmaking. She began her popular blog, kwernerdesign.com, in 2006 to share her cards and pages online with friends and family. This led to joining the American Crafts Design Team (2006-2007), and to the Two Peas in a Bucket Garden Girls Design Team (2008-2011). She has also had numerous cards and pages published in Paper Crafts, Cards, and Scrapbooking Trends magazines.
Kristina is well-known for her popular video series Make a Card Monday where she walks viewers through the creation of a handmade card each Monday. Her popular YouTube videos have have been watched over 10 million times, and her YouTube channel has over 35,000 subscribers who view her videos weekly.
A tech geek to the core, Kristina can never be seen too far from her iPhone and computer. She also loves calligraphy, reading, and watching her “guilty-pleasure” reality TV shows. She resides in the Salt Lake City, Utah area with her much loved cat Mannie, and loves hopping on an airplane every once in a while to visit family members who live in Phoenix, Arizona.
