Finally Friday – Hello (Paper Pieced Pennant)

Finally Friday - Hello (Paper Pieced Pennant)

Good morning!

For this week’s card, I was inspired by this paper by American Crafts. The tiny little pennants are so cute! So, I decided to paper piece a larger pennant of my own using the same American Crafts paper collection, Dear Lizzy.

To create the individual “flag” pieces, I first made a triangle template out of cardstock. Then, I traced the template onto five different papers and cut them out. Then it was just a matter of desigining the rest of the card and adhering the pennant to the card front.

BTW, doesn’t the “hello” look more like “chello”? LOL! Careful when you add little “swooshes” or extra pieces to the beginning of words. Sometimes it looks like it’s saying something else. Oh, well!

CHALLENGE: Create your own paper pieced pennant and put it on a scrapbook page or card. Upload your creation to the TwoPeas gallery and select this week’s Finally Friday video and your project will appear at the bottom of this week’s Finally Friday page.

Anyhow, enjoy!
