Hi all! I have been slacker when it comes to sharing my Simon Says Stamp cards and videos here at my blog. So, please bear with me today. I have lots of videos for you guys (including some Halloween ones). These are videos I’ve done for Simon over the last few weeks. Enjoy! :)
Today I’m part of a little mini “blog hop” with three of my friends. Today we’re all using this Furry Christmas stamp set. :) A few weeks ago, when we were all in Ohio for the weekend, we were sitting around a table and we came up with this stamp set. I illustrated it, but it was definitely a group effort–from the greetings, to how the animals look. That’s because the animals are all our pets! I blogged about this stamp set before, too. :)
So be sure to visit Jana Millen, Jennifer McGuire, and Kathy Racoosin today to see what they’ve created with the stamp set, too! It’s so fun to see their approaches to our little animal set. :)
As for my card, I think this took me hours to create! In fact, I did it over the course of a few days because I stamped it a few times, did a complete test coloring with Copic markers, and then attempted to color it while filming. Things didn’t turn out as I’d hoped (watch the video for the complete story), but in the end I had a cute little grouping of animals so I can’t complain.
Anyhow, I hope you all enjoy the card! I love seeing Mannie in stamp form. He’s too cute not to be, right? ;)
Hi all! Today marks Day 15 of the Holiday Card Series. :)
Today’s card started when I opened the Bazzill Card Shoppe Green With Envy cardstock assortment pack and saw the colors fanned out. I thought they looked so cool all together! Then I remembered this card by Cristina Kowalczyk that I adore. I love how she stamped over the bands of colored cardstock. So clever! So, I expanded upon her idea and adapted it for this card. :)
A word of warning on the embossing over adhered cardstock… Watch the video to see what went wrong happened. ;)
In the video I show you a way of applying Clear Rock Candy Stickles using a brush. I love this method! I learned it from Kathy Racoosin not too long ago and I feel like I’ve been putting Rocky Candy Stickles on everything now!

@MyPinkMexicoMD LOL! I've had a few rip recently. That's part of what prompted me to switch over. :) - May 23, 2013
@jenmcguireink I resisted, but since getting the fridge binz, I see why you use the pockets. That and my small stamp sets get lost. LOL! - May 23, 2013
