Hello, all! After all the ink blending in Friday’s video, I really wanted to use one of the color combos! So I decided to create a card that has center blending (I call it “spotlight blending” in the video, but really “center blending” makes more sense).
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).

I blended three Distress Oxide inks (Scattered Straw, Worn Lipstick, and Festive Berries), creating a soft circular area in white cardstock. I sized it just right to go behind a heart image from Simon’s Orate Love stamp set, which I stamped and embossed with gold embossing powder. I also die cut small letters using Simon’s Rounded Alphabet Small die set and adhered them over the heart.
Simon’s Hot Pink Glitter paper matched the color combo so well! So I adhered a strip of it behind the blended panel.

To finish off the greeting, I white heat embossed “always & forever” from CZ Design’s Simple Sentiments stamp set on vellum and adhered it using Gina K Connect Glue. (Watch the video for a tip on adhering vellum!).
Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be back tomorrow with another video. :)
