Morning, all! Have you been watching the Royal Wedding? I caught a bit of it this morning and I think her dress was perfect. Just gorgeous. What a wonderful day for them. :)
Small update on Mannie
His recovery from the urinary blockage and UTI are slow, but I’m hopeful that it will continue positively. I wasn’t sure if the antibiotic shot they gave him 12 days ago was working, but after a talk with a knowledgeable vet technician, I realized I just need to wait it out a bit longer. Even if the antibiotic wasn’t working (which I think it is now, albeit slowly) they wouldn’t want to give him another antibiotic until the current one is out of his system. In the meantime, he has a bit more energy each day.
(Sorry for all the Mannie stuff dominating Twitter, Facebook, and my blog over the past week. I know y’all are here for papercrafting stuff, so thank you for your patience).
Anyhow, on to today’s card. I’ve had this little “Laugh” banner sitting on my desk and it was just calling out to be used on a card. I thought it would be fun to create a “string” that the banner could hang on. And using the Collage Press 6×6 papers with a stamped and embossed background using the Hero Arts / BasicGrey Life of the Party Stars stamp created the perfect background for the banner. :)
CHALLENGE: Create a banner on a card–either with stickers like I did, or by creating your own. Upload your creation to the TwoPeas gallery and select this week’s Finally Friday challenge.
