Hello, all! Today’s post is part of a blog hop for SugarPea Designs’ 4th Birthday! I chose to play with the gorgeous Pretty Peonies stamp set and some watercolors to create a card. (After I made this card I realized that everyone else participating in the blog hop was making birthday cards! Oops! However, there is a birthday greeting in the stamp set so you could swap out the “Praying For You” greeting for that one if you needed to).
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).
I stamped the images from the Pretty Peonies stamp set in Timber Brown StazOn ink on Fabriano Artistico Extra White cold press watercolor paper. Then I painted the stamped scene using Mijello Mission Gold watercolors (my favorites watercolors). To finish off the card, I stamped the greeting on VersaMark ink on vellum and heat embossed it using gold embossing powder.
I hope you enjoy the card and video! Make sure to check out the blog hop info below…
