Today I am continuing the die cutting series for Friday Focus! This time I decided to create a DIY stencil using Embossable Window Plastic from Judikins and the Large Circle Burst die from Memory Box. I used the stencil to apply Graphite Ferro (which is sort of like embossing paste) to the front of the card. Then I applied another diecut, Simon Says Stamp’s Small Hello, to the center of the circle area. I finished off the card by coloring a white Mini Hearts diecut with a Copic marker and adhering that as well.
Super fast! One thing to note: The Ferro added quite a bit of moisture to the cardstock and it did warp quite a bit. I suspect that some time underneath a heavy book is needed in order to straighten it out. :)
