For the fourth installment in my Distress Ink miniseries, I thought I’d try a “faux” watercolor stamping technique with Mini Distress Inks. Basically you ink up the stamp with different colors, lightly mist it with water, and then stamp. It creates a fun watercolor look.
The flower stems in My Favorite Things’ Peaceful Wildflowers set were perfect for this technique. I love watercolored flowers. :)
I also used a new-t0-me embossing folder today, the Polka Dot embossing folder set. There are two embossing folders in the set and they’re really cool because they’re 6×6! For designs like polka dots, the size benefit isn’t as apparent, but they have other designs that make having a 6×6 embossing folder awesome! I recently picked up this set of embossing folders, too.
Hope you enjoy today’s video. :)
