Happy Monday, all! Can you believe we’re at Day 21 of the Holiday Card Series already?! It’s just flying by, right? For those who are are new to my blog and videos, the Holiday Card Series consists of 25 holiday card inspiration videos. I’ll be sharing holiday inspiration every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until December 20.
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).
Today’s card is completely from scratch, with no stamps or dies. I first traced a half circle shape onto the bottom of a 4.25″ x 5.5″ sheet of watercolor paper. Then I watercolored a dark purple-ish sky. I added some simple details on the white circle to make it into a snowman’s face, and then used gold watercolor to letter a greeting in the sky area. To finish off the scene, I added snowflakes with a white gel pen.
I hope you like today’s card! I’m in love with it and plan to make a few more before the holiday season is over. :)
