Holiday Card Series 2018 – Day 15 – Modern Design with Watercolors

For those who are are new to my blog and videos, the Holiday Card Series consists of 25 holiday card inspiration videos. I’ll be sharing holiday inspiration every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until December 20. Today I wanted to create my own pattern using a row of outline circles included in Waffle Flower’s new Color Swatches for Watercolors stamp set.

(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).

I started by stamping the row of circles from the stamp set three times, letting the circles overlap. I heat embossed them using white embossing powder and then painted them using Mijello Mission Gold watercolors.

To finish of this clean and simple card, I stamped “Comfort & Joy” from Simon’s Tiny Words Christmas stamp set to the right of the watercolor painting and heat embossed the greeting with gold embossing powder.

Thanks for stopping by today! I will be back on Friday with Day 16 of the Holiday Card Series. :)
