For those who are are new to my blog and videos, the Holiday Card Series consists of 25 holiday card inspiration videos. I’ll be sharing holiday inspiration every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until November 30. The Day 18 card features the Christmas Circlet stamps and dies from Art Impressions used to create a card with three small scenes.
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).
I’ve created a few Tryfold or Mini Circlet cards using Art Impressions stamps before (see this one, this one, or this one), so for today’s card I thought I would using the three scenes in a different way. Inside of putting each scene on different panels of a trifold card, I put all three on the front.
I stamped the scenes in Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink and then colored them with Copic markers. I then cut them out.
To create a “peppermint stripe” to go behind the scenes, I cut strips of Crimson and White Glitter Paper from Simon into 1/2″ strips and adhered them to a separate piece of cardstock.
I created the card base using Neenah Desert Storm card stock and the finished size is 9.5″ x 3.5″, which will fit into a standard #10 business envelope (no special envelope size needed).
To finish off the card, I stamped a small greeting from Mama Elephant’s Holiday Messages stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black ink.
Thanks for stopping by! I’ll see you on Friday for Day 19!
