For those who are are new to my blog and videos, the Holiday Card Series consists of 25 holiday card inspiration videos. I’ll be sharing holiday inspiration every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until November 30. Today’s video features creating 15 cards within two hours!
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).
By using pre-printed cards from Concord & 9th (Dip-dyed Cards & Envelopes), I cut down on any time it might have taken to prepare the card bases or backgrounds. And to keep it simple, I stamped the large snowflake from the Snow Flurry stamp set in the center of each card base using VersaMark ink. I applied silver embossing powder and heat set it with a heat tool.
For the sentiment, I stamped the “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” greeting included in the Very Merry Sentiments stamp set from Concord & 9th. I used two colors of ink: Soft Navy from Simon Says Stamp and Flamingo from Wplus9. Both colors match the colors used on the cards.
I adhered the greeting word strips to each card using foam tape.
For all my tips on creating duplicates of cards, be sure to watch the video above. Thanks for stopping by today! I’ll be back on Wednesday with Day 6 of the Holiday Card Series. :)
