Hi all! I had a lovely birthday weekend, and an even better Monday. No work! Yay! I took the day off to extend my birthday weekend. Best idea ever. :)
Anyhow, on to today’s card–which I filmed this morning. So strange to be able to make the Make a Card Monday card on an actual Monday. LOL! Usual I make them on Sundays if I can.
For today’s card, I was inspired by the punched circle technique April Foster used over at Studio Calico for an absolutely gorgeous page of her daughter. I didn’t do the spray ink like she did, but I was intrigued by the punched circles and using them to create a background. I thought it was so fun!
I used the damask stamp from Hampton Art’s Graphic Borders and some chip letters from BasicGrey. After I placed the chipboard letters on the card, I knew it would need something else to the left of the chip letters, so I broke out my two Martha Stewart Crafts butterfly punches (Royal Butterfly | 3-in-1 Butterfly).
