Happy Tuesday, all!
Just wanted to give you all a heads up that the October Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp is now available. I think this might be one of my favorite kits! I love the soft, neutral-ish color palette. :)
Not only did I help pull this kit together, but I designed the stamp set as well!
I just love how the flower and leaves turned out. It’s super fun to stamp, emboss, and then watercolor. Stay tuned for that–I think I’m going to break out the stamp set for some watercoloring soon. :)
Here are a couple cards that I created with the kit…
I kept this card simple by creating an embossed background using the Martha Stewart Crafts Scoring Board. BTW, have y’all seen the smaller scoring board now? I’m tempted to trade in my large one for the smaller. I think it would fit in my work space better…
(Yes, I did just photoshop those two together so I could see the size difference. I’m geeky like that. Ha!)
On the second card, I stamped the various pieces of the flower on patterned paper and embossed with white embossing powder. I was tempted to color in the flower, but in the end I left it as is. So glad I did! I love how it turned out.
I also have a third card and video over at the Simon blog today. :)
What you are guys up to today?
