Hello, all! This week I will be sharing with you three holiday mail art designs. For this first one, I used minimal supplies to create a “peppermint stripe” pattern on the envelope. :)

I started by applying narrow masking tape in a diagonal pattern on a white envelope. Since I wanted to use one color on the front of the envelope, and another envelope on the flap, I used a bit of wide Post-It tape to mask off the flap while I worked on the main area of the envelope.
For the flap, I moved the wide tape mask to other side of the fold, and then ink blended Peeled Paint Distress Ink from the edges of the flap (reserving the center area near the flap for when I write my return address on the envelope).
