FAQ
What is your blog software and what is your theme?
I use Movable Type 4.0 and I love it! The design (theme) of my blog was designed by me. I've dabbled in webdesign for over ten years. :) If you need a site designed, unfortunately I won't be able to help you. At this time I do not do any freelance webdesign work because I'm too busy. :)
Can I link to your blog?
Sure! No need to ask! :)
What camera do you use to take photos?
I currently use a Canon 50D (LOVE!), but used to own a Canon Digital Rebel XT. Old general photo/camera info (including my lens) is covered in this entry. I still use the same lenses, just a different camera now. :)
How long have you been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator?
I signed up to be a demonstrator under my good friend Erica in August 2006, and resigned as a demo in December 2007.
Will you take pictures of my family?
I occasionally do private photo shoots. If you are in the Salt Lake City, Utah area and are interested, please send me an email.
How do I order the Stampin' Up! stamps and supplies you use?
You can locate a demonstrator at the Stampin' Up! website. Just click on Find a Demonstrator. :)
Any advice for getting cards/pages in magazines?
It's all in the craftmanship. Always scor your cards before folding, make sure your ribbon isn't fraying, edges cut and adhered straight, and then take a good photo. Make your creation look the best it ever has. Oh, and try some of these publications (they accept email/web submissions):
I have a Mac, so I use the free software that comes on every Mac called iMovie. It's a super easy program. It is only available on Apple computers. I also edit in Final Cut Pro.
What camera do you use for videos?
I keep it simple since all of my videos are going online. I bought a Flip Ultra digital camcorder from Amazon.com. It's awesome! I love that I can just plug it straight into the computer and start editing:
