2 TECHNIQUES COMBO! Ink Blending + Multicolor Stamping

Happy Friday! Today I have a card for you made with two techniques: Ink blending and multicolor stamping with Distress Oxide inks. I love how dramatic this turned out!
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).

I used the Peony Notes stamp set from Waffle Flower for my card. The background ink blending was done using Picket Fence Blender Brushes and Seedless Preserves and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks.
Then I stamped the large peony images from the stamp set multiple times, changing the color of ink and the area it was applied to the stamps. I used Picked Raspberry, and the two colors of ink I used for the blending, Seedless Preserves and Chipped Sapphire.

The result is a rich, dramatic background. I finished off by gold heat embossing the “I Miss You” greeting from the stamp set, as well as adding gold embossed edges to the card front.
Thanks for stopping by today! I’ll see you on Monday for a new video!
