3 Types of Embossing Powder on 1 card!

NOTE: This post is sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. Thanks, Simon!
Happy Monday, all! Today I have a fun mermaid card for you! And I used three different types of embossing powder on this card, too.
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).

The first embossing powder was Distress Embossing Glaze! I used the new Mermaid Scales stencil from Simon Says Stamp to add a pattern in VersaMark Ink to white cardstock. Then I sprinkled on two colors of Distress Embossing Glaze: Cracked Pistachio and Broken China. These translucent embossing powders add a glossy sheen to the mermaid pattern!

The second embossing powder was Rainbow Sparkle Embossing Glitter from Brutus Monroe, which was added over the top of a watercolored mermaid tail. I stamped one of the tails from the Be a Mermaid stamp set, and watercolored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I coated the entire tail in the Rainbow Sparkle Embossing Glitter, heat set it, and used the coordinating dies to cut out the tail.

The last embossing powder was more traditional white embossing powder used to create the white sentiment on the card.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting!
