3 Ways to Add Glitter Paste to Envelopes

Happy Tuesday, all! Last week I shared a fun envelope idea and many of you asked for more envelope ideas so here we go! I have three different ways to add glitter and shimmer to your envelopes using shimmer pastes.

The first way is to use a stencil and bring the glitter paste in on only one edge. I used the Diamond stencil from Hero Arts and two different colors of paste. I combined the pastes in the middle for a bit of an ombré look. The colors I used are Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Pink Opal and Viva Decor Glitter Paste in Fuchsia. This envelope is a black A7 Envelope from Paper Source.

My second idea is to smear the glitter paste using a palette knife. I isolated the smears to just one corner so that I would have enough room for the mailing address and postage. I used the Viva Decor Fuchsia again, plus added two colors of Cosmic Shimmer Paste in Vivid Violet and Lavender Mist. This envelope is from Simon Says Stamp in the color Metallic Lavender.

The third idea is super simple. I used sticky notes to mask off the address area and then smeared some Golden Crystal Glimmer Paste from Nuvo from the edges. This highlights the mailing address. TIP: To make the spacing a bit easier for this design, I recommend writing the address first, and then masking it off with a sticky note and adding the paste. This envelope is a Beet A2 envelope from Paper Source.

The envelopes were addressed using both the Medium White Posca Marker and Extra Fine White Posca Marker, as well as the Lettermate Envelope Addressing Stencil.

I hope you all loved the glittery ideas for envelopes! Thanks for stopping by! :)
