How many postage stamps do you need to mail your card? What makes an envelope nonmachinable? In today’s video, I’m answering these questions and more! :)
Hello, all! For the final video for Mail Art Week, I hopped on YouTube for my weekly livestream. I created an envelope inspired by one of the postage stamps!
Happy Thursday! I love today’s envelope–it’s so happy and colorful! For my fourth installment of Mail Art Week, I created an ink blended and masked “rainbow cloud.” I used the Slimline Ribbon and Lace Border dies from Sunny Studio to create the scallop edge. I also used the Hayley Uppercase and Hayley Lowercase dies to create the masks for Alison’s name.
Hi all! Today is my third installment for Mail Art Week. Today’s envelope features masking off the center area of the envelope and then using a stencil over the top. I used Mama Elephant’s Snail Mail dies to create the postage stamp edge mask, and then three colors of ink from Simon for the stenciling with the Hearts and Stars stencil.
Welcome back for my second envelope in Mail Art Week! Today’s envelope features an easy way to highlight the recipient’s name with blocks of color. This looks particularly striking on a dark envelope (like the Aubergine envelope I used), but would be just as fun on a lighter envelope–which wouldn’t require acrylic paint pens, etc.
Happy Monday, all! This week is Mail Art Week! I’ll be sharing a new mail art envelope each weekday. For today’s envelope, I showed how to take a printed name and transfer it to the envelope for embellishing. This is a super easy way to get a precise font or lettering style.
Hi all! Welcome back for Day 4 of the Valentine’s Day Card Series for 2023! Today I used Simon’s brand new From the Heart Messages stamp set, and the new Nested Rounded Hearts dies to create a shaker card. Then I created an envelope to match.
See all of Simon’s brand new release HERE.
Hello, all! Today I hopped on YouTube live to create a card and envelope inspired by one of my favorite postage stamps! It is a quilled heart postage stamp that was released in 2016.
NOTE: Address used with permission. Thanks, Terry! To submit your address for use on future mail art envelopes, please fill out this form. There is a new form each month to keep addresses current.
Happy Wednesday! Mailing and Mail Art month continues today with a focus on envelopes! I use both pre-made made DIY envelopes for my cards. Be sure to check out the links to resources below the video.
