I’m not quite ready to delve into Christmas crafting yet, so I thought I’d create a card using more of an autumn color palette today. After determining the color palette and mixing colors from the Gansai Tambi watercolor palette, I jumped into making these cards.
I created the flower background using the Garden of Life stamp set from Cath Edvalson and Technique Tuesday. When I first saw this flower, I knew it would be perfect for emboss resist watercoloring! :)
I originally planned to use the entire watercolor background on one card, but then decided to make it into two separate cards. The pattern was so pretty, I loathed cutting any of it away.
The greetings on the cards are from Mama Elephant’s Sunday Sentiments stamp set. I stamped the words in Truffle pigment ink from Avery Elle.
