AWESOME Circle Shaker Card Tips!

Hello all! So sorry for the delayed video! I’ve been traveling and it’s thrown a wrench into my usual schedule. I have one more trip this week and then I’ll be back to the usual routine. I’m actually looking forward to it!

Today I have a circle shaker card for you, plus some awesome tips for making shaker cards easier to create. These two tips are from blog readers and YouTube viewers just like you! Unfortunately, I do not recall who shared these tips with me (it was some time ago), but you know who you are! THANK YOU!

Circle Shaker Card Tips!

Tip 1

When creating the window for the shaker, add water to the acetate (and then dry it off) to eliminate some of the static cling that causes embossing powder to stick everywhere. As you can see, I still had some stray embossing powder bits, however, this was a VAST improvement compared to a previous acetate heat embossing attempt. I used the new Thank You Wishes stamp set from Mama Elephant for the embossed greeting on my card today. I used Rich Pale Gold embossing powder from Wow.

Tip 2

When creating the shaker area, take the release paper completely off the foam adhesive tape. Then you’re able to bend and form the foam around the shaker window. BRILLIANT! This will save me SO much time and frustration!
