Happy Tuesday! Welcome to Art Impressions Week here at my blog! With so many amazing Art Impressions products in their latest release (see it all here), I thought I would dedicate an entire week to showcasing how to create cards with the many different stamp sets and project sets. Since I created a card using their Twist Ties line not long ago, I won’t be sharing a card using those stamps this week, but you can check out that card HERE.
Today’s card features one of Art Impressions’ new clear stamp sets. After my full release walk-through, many of you wanted to see a card idea using the Office Party stamp set, so here we go!
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).
I paired up one of the main images from the stamp set with a large greeting from Concord & 9th’s Everyday Greetings stamp set. And to make it look like the balloons from the Office Party set were in front of the words, I created masks for the balloons using masking paper. The masks protected the interior area of the balloons while I stamped the large words over the top.
Everything was stamped using Onyx Black Versafine ink on Neenah Desert Storm card stock, and then colored using Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils.
I hope you enjoyed today’s video! I’ll be back tomorrow with Day 3 of the Art Impressions Week!
