Copic Markers & Saturated Canary Ivy — Color Wednesday #40

Happy Wednesday!

Today I decided to color a digital stamp from Saturated Canary. I printed the image on 120# Ultra Thick Cardstock using my regular inkjet printer (an older Epson all-in-one printer with Claria ink). I don’t seem to have any smearing issues with this printer and the image always turns out nice. So even though I do have an inexpensive laser printer which should work well with Copics, I still print digi stamps using my inkjet. Plus, the cheap laser printer can’t handle the thicker cardstock and the older Epson can. :)

Anyhow, I colored the image using Copic Markers, and then embellished with Clear Wink of Stella on the bow and leggings. I also added some Glossy Accents to her glasses and I love how it turned out! It adds just the right amount of shine to her glasses and changes the look of the coloring underneath it. (Click on the image to the left to see it larger). Sometimes I see awesome coloring done of people wearing glasses and they always seem to have slightly different coloring behind the glasses. I didn’t want to mess with that, and it turns out I didn’t need to since the Glossy Accents would take card of it for me. :)

I finished off the card with the “hello” stamp from Simon Says Stamp’s Baby stamp set and a You die-cut.
