DIY Bookmark Card (Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers Series #1)
Happy Monday, all! So sorry for the late posting tonight. I’ve been scrambling to get this video edited today and I kept being interrupted by various things. I’m sure you all can relate. :)
I’m going to be doing a short miniseries of videos this week featuring the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. So today’s video is the first, and I’m also creating a bookmark card using the Newton’s Book Club stamp set from Newton’s Nook.
As many of you told me, using the Zig markers on Bristol Smooth paper was a dream! The colors blended so seamlessly! I’d highly recommend using Bristol with your Zigs, especially if you’d been frustrated in the past with the color soaking into paper too quickly and not allowing you to blend the colors. There’s something magical about the Bristol! :)
I used ten different Zig marker colors: Gray Brown, Turquoise Green, Bright Yellow, Light Carmine, Pink, Yellow, Light Green, Voilet, Light Gray, and Cobalt Blue. All are included in the 48 pack of markers.
After creating the bookmark, I used the Gift Card Slot dies from Simon Says Stamp to create tabs in the black cardstock. The tabs hold the bookmark in place while still allowing the bookmark to be removed by the recipient.
