Dramatic Florals with Watercolor Markers – Zig Clean Color Real Brush

For today’s card, I’m using the Daisy Bouquet stamp set with watercolor markers. I really love the large cluster of daisies!

I stamped the image from Daisy Bouquet in Acorn Versafine Clair ink on Bristol paper. Then I taped it to a board and starting painting using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a size 4 round watercolor brush.
NOTE: Be sure to watch the video above for the exact marker colors I used.
Because I planned to white heat emboss the greeting over the top of the flowers, I made sure to build up lots of color and a dramatic background. I did this so that the white greeting would be legible. It would have gotten lost is the area behind the words were lighter.
I die cut the painting using the largest die in the Rounded Corner Rectangles die set and then adhered it to a Blue Violet card base.
