Easy DIY Thank You Cards (Ombré Watercolor)

Happy Wednesday, all! I have another DIY watercolor card for you today. In fact, there are two cards! I thought some simple thank you cards would be perfect. :)

Easy DIY Thank You Cards (Ombré Watercolor)

The biggest tip I can give you to make your inexpensive paints look there best is to mix unique colors. Colors straight from the palette can be great, but if you want a more complex look, try creating your own colors. I used a Crayola watercolor set that can be found in lots of stores for $2 or less!

I created two ombré watercolor backgrounds for my cards. The first was a smooth blended look. The second used a drier brush technique and I purposely wanted more streaks or stripes. I love how both turned out!

To finish the cards, I wrote “thanks” and “thank you” with a gray marker.

Thanks for stopping by!
