Happy Friday, all! For today’s card, I’m creating with the new Critter Crowd stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. When I designed the stamp set, this is the card I was envisioning!
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).

There are so many fun elements included in the Critter Crowd stamp set that will allow you to customize the scene. For precise stamping, I used a stamp map to help me get the placement of all the images. The process of creating a stamp map also helps me determine which images need to be masked off.
So I first created the stamp map, disregarding any areas where the images would be overlapping. I then stamped the images that needed masks on masking paper and trimmed them out using scissors.
Then it was time for stamping on my actual project. I used Fabriano watercolor paper and used a MISTI for all the stamping. Be sure to watch this portion of the video to see how I used the stamp map!
I painted the scene with Mijello Mission Gold watercolors, and added details with a white gel pen and gloss with Nuvo Crystal Glaze.
I hope you enjoyed the video today! I’ll be back soon with another video! :)
