Easy Watercolor Valentine’s Day Cards – Color Wednesday #59 (Simon Says Stamp Better Together Blog Hop)

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

Today’s Color Wednesday card video is part of the Better Together Blog Hop from Simon Says Stamp. Simon released a bunch of Valentine’s Day stamps and dies not long ago and today we’re playing with them. :)

You can see the entire Better Together release HERE.

For my cards today I used the Quite the Pear stamp set. This is one of the sets I designed and I just love the little images. I designed these specifically to be used on 3×3 cards…

I first die cut watercolor paper using the scallop square die from the Lunch Box Notes die set. Then I embossed the images in white and added watercolor on top.

The result is a soft, colorful look…

These worked up super fast so I think it would be fun to create a bunch of these for Valentine’s Day. I didn’t snap a picture of the inside of the cards, but I stamped the punny greeting for each image on the inside of the cards.

To see the entire cardmaking process, be sure to watch the video below. :)
