Emboss Resist with Distress Ink Watercoloring

NOTE: Decided to do an impromptu blog update and redesign. I’ll be adding more and more over the next few weeks. If there are any areas that are missing that you’d like to see, please let me know in the comments.:)
Happy Wednesday, all!
The new Simon Says Stamp card kit for July 2015 was revealed over the weekend. I adore the Sail Away stamp set in the kit, and I’ve been looking forward to creating a specific card with it every since I designed the stamps! I’ve had this card in my head ever since.
These outline stamps are perfect for the emboss resister technique! The melted embossing powder resists the watercolor, leaving behind sharp white lines. I adore this look!
To create the sea colors, I used four different Distress Inks: Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers, and Chipped Sapphire. I adore how it all turned out!
