FAST & EASY Nautical Themed Thank You Cards (great for cruise ship crew!)

Hello, all! The latest release from Simon Says Stamp just went live! I wanted to create a few nautical thank you cards using new products from the release. I used two new background stamps (Waves and Anchors), a new stencil (Nautical Stripes Stencil), and a new word die set (Thanks Frame dies).
You can see the entire June 2019 release HERE. :)
(Wondering what I used in this video? Everything is linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this post, or in the text below. Compensated affiliate links used when possible).

All three cards use the same basic design, but with different elements. I started out by choosing colors of cardstock. I used white, navy, brown, kraft, teal, and gold foil. Then I used the A2 Layers dies from Waffle Flower to diecut panels for the cards, and the Thanks Frame dies for the greetings.
Each card has a different pattern on the main panel. For the first card, I stamped the Anchors background stamp in VersaMark ink and applied gold embossing powder.

The second card’s pattern was also stamped. I used the Waves background stamp and heat embossed the pattern in white embossing powder.
The third card had a stenciled pattern. I used the new Nautical Stripes stencil and navy ink. I used Pixie Spray to help keep the stencil in place with adding the ink.
I finished off the cards by adhering the panels to each card base, and then adhering the Thanks Frame greetings.
These cards are perfect for thank you cards given to the crew on cruise ships! I won’t be sailing again until December, so I’ll set these aside for that trip. :)
Thanks for stopping by today! The entire Simon Says Stamp release can be seen here.
