Finally Friday – Happy Holidays
Hi all!
We’re taking a break from the Halloween cards and skipping ahead a couple holidays to Christmas! You can see the card and all the supplies used by clicking here. :)
I love making holiday cards, so I couldn’t resist this Snowflake Circle stamp from Hero Arts. This stamp in particular is one of Hero’s new Clings stamps. That means it has the traditional red rubber, but instead of being permanently stuck to a wood block, it has cling material on the back so that it can be temporarily mounted to an acrylic block. It’s a great space saver, but also retains the quality stamped image of a traditional wood block stamp. :)
I also decided to make a circle card. I haven’t made one of these in a while, and they’re probably one of my favorites because it’s such a different shape for a card. :) I used my Card Shapes Designer Cuts kit to cut the card base with a Cricut Expression cutting machine. For more info on using SVG files and other digital die cut files in the Two Peas store with your Cricut machine, watch this video at YouTube.
Anyhow, thanks for watching! And be sure to join us for the FF challenge this week.
CHALLENGE: Create either a circle card, or a holiday card. Your choice! Upload it to the TwoPeas gallery and select this Finally Friday video when you do, and your card will appear at the bottom of the page.
NOTE: The paper in the background of the photo is some patterned paper by My Mind’s Eye.
