Friday Focus – Inspired By #9 (Bliss Living Duvet)
Hi all!
I think out of all my different Friday Focus videos I love the Inspired By ones the most. :) Recently I came across this duvet cover from Bliss Living and I thought it was so pretty and would make a great card!
Do you remember last week when I said I’d filmed a card and then accidentally deleted all the video footage? This is the card! I’m so glad I refilmed it because I really do love this card. :)
I used the Dahlias stamp set from Penny Black for the large flowers, and the Botanicals 2 stamp set from Paper Smooches for the foliage. By heat embossing the images in white, they stamped images resisted all the watercoloring I added on top. Super easy to paint this way, and it looks like it look ages when it really didn’t!
I used four different Distress Ink for this card: Victorian Velvet, Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves, and Pumice Stone. The small tag is from the Tiny Tags die set from Simon, and the small greeting from the Favorite Flowers stamp set stamped in Smokey Gray Versafine ink.
