Hand Lettered Card with Colorful Watercolor Flowers

NOTE: As you may have noticed, I’m taking a bit of a blog break. I am currently working on a big project for Online Card Classes that is taking up the majority of my time. It will be wrapping up soon, and then I’ll be back to my regular 3x week videos. Thanks for all your patience! :)

Today I have another watercolor lettering video for you. This time I added some flowers and leaves around the lettering to fill in the spaces and create a happy, colorful card.

I used a small Pentel Aquash Brush to paint with, and Dr. Ph. Martin’s Concentrated Radiant Water Colors for the painting. You really have to see the Radiant paints in person–some of the colors are fluorescent and just glow and leap off the page!

As for paper, I’ve been using Canson XL Watercolor paper for lettering practice. It’s an economical watercolor paper that’s been working out lovely. For more water-heavy painting, I would still recommend using a higher quality watercolor paper.

Anyhow, enjoy the video!
