Happy, Monday!

I started making this card last night and it was an epic fail. LOL! I was attempting to create my own “embossing plate” by layering the same die-cut words multiple times and then running it through my Big Shot machine. Um, no. The words were all blobby and nearly illegible. But after I’d run the “embossing plate” through the Big Shot, the edges of the letters were smoothed and rounded and it looked so pretty!

So I salvaged my make shift embossing plate and used it on this card instead! I love how it turned out, actually. It was time consuming adhering the multiple layers of die-cut words, so I wouldn’t make a ton of this card, but I do love the look.

The font I used for “Merry Christmas” is Lavenderia, which you can get HERE. I die-cut it with my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine.
