Holiday Card Series 2014 – Day 7 + Wow Embossing Powder GIVEAWAY!

Today I have Day 7 of the Holiday Card Series and a giveaway for you all. :)

Wow just came out with six new embossing glitters and I got a chance to try them out (available at Simon now). For today’s card, I used the new Whirlpool color to emboss snowflakes from Avery Elle’s Noel stamp set. The blue glitter embossing powder is so pretty on black cardstock! I love how it turned out.

I gave the glitter the “rub test,” meaning I tested to see how much glitter would come off when I rubbed it. A little bit came off at first, but them it eventually “calms down” and no glitter flakes off. So you could certainly rub off as must as possible before sending the card if you’re worried about the card recipient getting an envelope full of glitter. :)
