Holiday Card Series 2014 – Day 8
Hello, all!
Today marks Day 8 of the Holiday Card Series. Since it’s Wednesday, I’ve done a coloring card (similar to my Color Wednesday videos). The stamp I colored today is Dollie With Gifts from The Greeting Farm. Isn’t she so cute?! I just love the new Dollie stamps TGF has started releasing (see another Dollie card that I colored HERE). The red coat with white fur trim on this stamp makes me think of my favorite holiday movie, White Christmas. I’ve always loved the red satin dresses at the end of the movie. :)
Anyhow, I colored Dollie with Copic Markers. To create the background behind her, I cut out a mask to protect her while I added Distress Inks and the “Happy Holidays” stamp from Mama Elephant’s Season’s Greeting stamp set on top. I’m loving dark navy background at the moment, so I think you’ll be seeing it again during the Holiday Card Series.
