Holiday Card Series 2015 – Day 18
Hello, all!
In previous years of the Holiday Card Series, I’ve thrown in an envelope or two. Today I thought it would be fun to decorate one of the new wood envelopes that Simon Says Stamp is carrying. They’re so fun! And even better? They hold up to watercolor extremely well!
First, I created a watercolor background using the Gansai Tambi palette.
Then, I lightly sketched Kathy‘s name and address in pencil. I painted her name in a light champagne color from the FineTec palette and her PO Box address in white gouache.
I also added some hand painted snowflakes to give it some holiday flare.

NOTE: I mention in the video that I’ll be sliding this envelope into a clear bag for mailing. I believe this is the size of clear bag that will fit an A2 envelope.
